May is Youth Service month where we focus on scholarships. We will be awarding ten, $2,000 scholarships this year.
Thanks to today’s greeters - Jeff Senney and Dan Sortman.
Today’s Announcements:
- Welcome today’s guests: Pat Beckel’s guests, Ashley Campbell (Fairy Godmother), and Kristy Spivey; and Patricia Campbell, whose son Colin is a short-term outbound student this year.
- Thanks to Frank, Lee & Brian for attending the District Gala with President Manning. Lee was recognized for us being one of the Peace Clubs in the district, and they heard from RYLA and the 4-Way Speech Contest students.
- Thanks to all who helped on Saturday at the Coffee Club’s first service project. We had around 30 volunteers build raised garden beds. Rotarians, Interact students, residents, and many friends, were there to help, so the project was done by 10:15 am, and then they fed the volunteers a fantastic breakfast.
