President Adam gave a PowerPoint presentation on Rotary, its founding and impact globally. This was done to provide scholarship winners and their parents with some perspective on what Rotary is all about.
Our program today was introducing the 2026 Rotary Scholarship recipients.
Brad Thorp thanked those club members (Harvey Smith, Elda Gotos Gay, and Jim Stuart) who worked with him to interview and select the scholarship recipients. The winners were then given time to tell the club about themselves, where they intended to go to school, and what their area of study was going to be. Bill Menker then presented a book to each scholarship recipient that was especially selected for them.
